It's nice to see Derek "the Forb" Forbort on the list.

I'm not so sure I agree. Kings have some pretty solid talent. It doesn't always have to be 40-40 top end talent. The Kings have tons of gritty players and role players who could fill out lines 3-4 and defensive pairings 4-7. If you can draft an NHL player, regardless of their line...that's a success.

Forbort, Gravel, Vey, Toffoli, Pearson, Jones, Andreoff, Desluariers, Kozun, Mersch, Shore...they all have the look of useful talents at the NHL level.

I think we can agree to disagree here.

It was a surprise to me when Jordan Nolan and Dwight King made the line up a couple years ago... they weren't at the top of most people's lists but they brought what the team needed. It will be interesting to see if any of these prospects have what the Kings need this year. I can't imagine many of them getting a serious chance unless there are a lot of injuries, though.

According to people in Vancouver Doughty would be on the second pairing in Vancouver and not a single LA Kings player would crack their top six.

So obviously you guys are great at evaluating talent up there.

when a smurf like jordan schroeder is getting pasted every shift by guys like andreoff or pearson, you'll reconsider the benefit of bottom six players in your lineup.

Kings didnt tender him a offer. So he became a UFA. Though I thought maybe he would go into the Draft again.

his numbers went down considerably after kings signed him in the juniors plus I read a couple weeks ago, he has a commitment of some kind to his native Finland for the next year.
Give DL and cast credit.........he kicked ass with what he had to work with. A smart pic trade with, I think Edmonton and some luck and they scored Zykov.......I guess this was a deep draft

If this list looks crappy to you, you must hate your teams prospects. (Ranked almost last hockeyfutures.com ) albeit a credit to nucks success in recent years and resulting late picks.
So...yeah.....im sure you have heard the "glass houses" phrase

First round of 2012 still stinging? How's that 1-8 playoff record of the last 2 years feel?
